Nying Drod means Warm Heart

One of the goals of Nangten Menlang International is to support Tibetans. The part of the Nangten Menlang International association responsible for charitable projects is called Nying Drod. Nying Drod is Tibetan for warm heart. With our Nying Drod - Warm Heart project, we want to show our warm hearts towards people in need.

Nying Drod was founded by Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche and builds a bridge between continents - it connects those who want to give with those who need help.

Your donation will be used directly to improve the living conditions of Tibetans

The Nying Drod - Warm Heart project supports Tibetans in need with your help. It finances the education of children, contributes to the medical care of the sick or elderly and supports monks in Tibetan monasteries.

100% of your donations go directly to the people in need. And we really mean 100%! All organizers of the Nying Drod - Warm Heart project work as volunteers. All costs (such as administrative costs or bank transaction costs) will be borne by Nangten Menlang International.

Tibetan Children Project

Many Tibetan families are unable to provide education for their children. But education is so important! € 135,- per year are enough to give a child the opportunity to attend a local school. Not only do you help the child, but you help the whole family on their way out of poverty.

Of course you can also donate less than the € 135 and thus contribute to the education of a Tibetan child.

If you would like to donate for this project, there are two ways to donate:

1. By bank transfer to the following account:

Erste Bank Vienna
IBAN: AT51 2011 1828 5501 1300

A big thank you to all donors! Education gives both the country and its inhabitants a better future.

Monastery Support Project

Through Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche, Nangten Menlang is very closely associated with the Tibetan Gaden Shartse - Sockpa Khangtsen Monastery in South India. There are currently 130 monks living in the monastery. The Nying Drod project is collecting donations to cover the following expenses for the monks: medical costs; cost of clothing; travel expenses so that the monks can participate in special teachings or empowerments; a small amount for the personal needs of the monks.

A big thank you to all donors!

Charity Week

In 2017, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche launched the idea of an annual Charity Week.

Many of Rinpoche's certified teachers give classes, workshops and lectures in Tulku Lobsang's methods, such as "Lu Jong - Tibetan Healing Yoga” or "Tog Chöd - The Wisdom Sword”, during this week and donate the resulting proceeds or parts thereof to the Nying Drod - Warm Heart project. 100% of the donations benefit the charity purpose. In the course of the Charity Week there will always  also be a charity event with Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche himself.

We sincerely thank all supporters for their donation and dedication!

Charity Week 2018: The Charity Week will take place from December 10th to 16th, 2018. The donations will benefit the construction project of the Gaden Shartse - Sockpa Khangtsen Monastery, allowing for the construction of the much needed third floor of the monastery building. During the Charity Week, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will hold two charity events in Geneva, Switzerland.

Review Charity Week 2017: During the charity week 2017, donations in the amount of € 11,424.- were collected, which benefited the Tibetan Gaden Shartse - Sockpa Khangtsen Monastery in South India. With this money, the expansion of the second floor of the monastery building was supported.
