Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche is a high Buddhist master and teacher. Born in Amdo, north-eastern Tibet, Tulku-la was recognized at the age of 13 as the eighth reincarnation of the Nyentse Lama. Rinpoche bases his teachings on the ancient knowledge of Tantrayana, which is the foundation of both Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan Medicine. Tulku-la travels through Europe, America and Asia sharing his deep knowledge of this precious wisdom.

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche’s teachings are characterized by his kind, humorous, and warm-hearted nature. Rinpoche bridges worlds and translates the ancient wisdom of his venerable transmission lineage into practical advice for the present day. Tulku Lobsang was interviewed by one of the biggest free morningpapers in Malmö about how to sleep better. ”Sleep makes you happy since it is a form of natural meditation. During sleep the body makes its own meditation in the brain that functions as the body´s private office”.

At the end of the interview Tulku Lobsang lists 5 things that make you sleep better:

  1. Dont eat to much or to less before bedtime. It affects your sleept.
  2. Go to bed at the right time in the evening. 10 pm is a perfect time, then you will achieve a good deep sleep. Later sleep can give you nightmears.
  3. Create a good feeling before you go to sleep. Negative, unhappy or angry thoughts will disturb your sleep.
  4. A good bed is important but also where it is situated in the apartment. Exactly how to place your bed is a whole science, but the most imortant thing is sleep with your head poitning towards north. If this is not possibel, the second best direction is towards east. It is also good if the door is opposite from your feets.
  5. Make sure that it is dark, cool and quiet in your bed room.
