Vajravarahi, (Dorje Phagmo in Tibetan), is considered the Mother goddess from where all the Buddhas are born. She is the wrathful deity form of Vajrayogini—the root of all emanations of dakinis. Vajravarahi represents the wisdom aspect of all the Buddhas.
As the fierce aspect of Vajrayogini, she is regarded as the empress of the fierce, dancing dakinis. Also known as the “Vajra Sow,” she is the consort of Chakrasamvara. She is usually depicted as red in colour with a sow‘s head protruding from her own. The sow is said to represent Vairocana Buddha. She represents compassion and passion, and ignorance and wisdom of the all-encompassing matrix from which all phenomena unfold.
By receiving the Vajravarahi empowerment, you will be initiated in the Mandala of the awakened female Buddha, Vajravarahi and thereby authorized to meditate on Vajravarahi. Receiving the empowerment on Vajravarahi, is said to bring tremendous blessings to this lifetime and thereafter.
This extraordinary Empowerment will be given by His Holiness Kyapgon Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche from Bhutan, who is the reincarnation of the great Yogi Rigzin Jinpa Gyaltsen — the holder of the secret doctrines.
This is an extremely rare and precious opportunity to receive a Tantrayana empowerment from a renowned Vajra Master!
His Holiness Kyapgon Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche is one of the highest Buddhist Masters in Bhutan. He has been the master of Philosophy and Logic at Bumthang Monastery since he was forty-five years old. For 10 years, he also held the highly esteemed position of Dorji Lopon, or “Vajra Master“, heading the Vajracarya division of the Central Monastic Body. He later chose to live a life of simple renunciation in a small hut where he meditates and practices.
As a result of his unwavering practice, his level of understanding and experience have thrived and his insights and realizations have expanded immeasurably. He has brought great benefit to the Bhutanese community. He has given many masters and teachers direct instructions in empowerment, transmission and teaching of Mahamudra, the Six Doctrines of Naropa and Dzogchen. He has also offered lay people the oral transmission of Mani and Vajra Guru mantras, as well as other teachings. Rinpoche is not only a great Vajra Master in Bhutan, but he has also traveled and taught all across Asia. Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche has also received teachings directly from this great master.
