About me
Lu Jong, or Tibetan yoga, restores the spine, nurtures the organs, balances the inner elements, and clears stagnant energy. Rooted in Tibetan medicine and Buddhist wisdom, it is not about performance but presence, a pathway back to yourself with tenderness and resilience, where all bodies and seasons of life are welcome.
“It’s like my nervous system finally exhaled.” — Sylvana Mosconi, Houston, TX
I trained and certified with Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche as a 5 Elements & Lu Jong Teacher. Yoga was the doorway, but Buddhist teachings have been my path since 2007, deepened under H.E. Khangser Rinpoche. I also help facilitate Lamrim and Vajrayana teachings through the Dipkar Vajrayana Institute.
Before retiring in 2023, my career had been in housing security, health, education, equity, and trauma recovery. At 47, I turned fully to Lu Jong, a calling that offered the healing I needed. My formation includes Reiki Mastery (2013), 5 Elements & Lu Jong Teacher Training (2024), Kabbalah Analyst Certification (2024), certificates in meditation and somatic breathing, and academic studies in Public Administration, Counseling Psychology, Sociology, and Spanish Literature.
I founded Zen & Tonic as a boutique studio for sacred study and embodied healing. Here I teach Lu Jong, meditation, and somatic breathing, and guide clients through Analytical Kabbalah, using the Tree of Life to explore karmas, blockages, and hidden strengths.
Family keeps me grounded. My husband and I rooted our lives in Mexico City in 2023. I am a mother of two, a bonus mom to three, and now a grandmother to one luminous little soul. Our pups Harper, Dave, and Josh keep daily life full of play.
“I felt calmer, lighter, and more grounded than I have in years.” — Elena Rosencrantz, Mexico City
“I didn’t know movement this gentle could be so powerful.” — Joe Aréchiga, Mexico City
Come when you are ready. Move softly. This is not about becoming someone else, but remembering what is already true.
