About me
I originally met Tulku Lobsang through a very auspicious encounter in India in February 2002 and was fortunate to attend the first course he offered in the Nangten Menlang Center in Manali.
This was my introduction to Lu Jong and Tsa Lung, and the beginning of my incredible journey with the teachings of Tibetan Medicine, Tantrayana and the warmth and wisdom of Tulku-la. By the end of those 3 weeks I was devoted to support Tulku-la spread the teachings and began organizing tours for him in the US.
This is how I came to be the chairwoman of the North American branch of Tulku-la's organization. Today, 22 years later, I still assist with many projects for NMI, including developing the Teacher’s Manuals, editing books, and preparing web material. I am honored to be a part of this organization and help spread Tulku-la's teachings to the world.
My formal education is a university degree in Biology (pre-med), a certificate in Consciousness Studies from the Center for World Indigenous Studies and a Masters degree in Cultural Studies specializing in Perception and Communication. But the education I have received from Tulku-la and the Buddhist practices surpasses all of these!
Today I am very excited about exploring the intersection of the Buddhist teachings with cutting-edge discoveries in the sciences, particularly unified physics and the life sciences. As our society learns more, we come closer to what the ancient spiritual masters have always taught. Now we can offer proof to the skeptical and bridge science and spirituality.
