Hi Tibetan Buddhist journey companions!
I'm Anabela Sobrinho, born in Lisboa, Portugal, in 1952 and living in Melbourne, Australia, since 1985.
As a teenager, I read heaps about all the different religions and I felt Buddhism resonated with me profoundly.
In 2010 I joined the Medicine Bhudda Tantrayana Meditation Centre in Frankston, Victoria, receiving teachings from Venerable Lama Lobsang Tendar. One year later, my Lu Jong practice started in Portugal with Natacha Monteiro, a lovely teacher. In 2015, together with her and another 2 fellow students, we flew to Stuttgart, Germany, to do our Lu Jong 1 Teacher Exam in Plochingen. While there, I took refuge with Venerable Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche.
For several reasons I haven't taught Lu Jong 1, but have never stoppped my Bhuddist practices.
I feel now it's the time to spread what I learned back from 2011 - 2015* ! * !
By the way, I'm not a nun...I lost my hair last year, 2023, due to covid.
