The Four Transformational Thoughts are essential to Buddhist practice and understanding – from the beginning to the end of our spiritual journey.
They are the traditional Tibetan Buddhist framework to contemplate on:
- the preciousness of human birth
- the truth of impermanence
- the inescapability of karma
- the reality of suffering
All great masters of the past and present have emphasized repeated reflection on these four points. The Four Transformational Thoughts are very powerful. They lead us to truthfully examine what we have been doing with our lives and help us make our lives meaningful by recognizing the amazing opportunity that this precious human birth offers, by aligning our actions with our deep wish for happiness, and by developing a kind heart full of true love and compassion.
In this Retreat, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will guide us on the profound and practical path of the Four Transformational Thoughts so that they will help us bring our life to fruition.
