KATA OFFERING CEREMONY
During this teaching, Rinpoche will offer a short blessing ceremony. Traditionally, you can make a kata (blessing scarf) offering where you approach Rinpoche with a kata folded in half and held in your prayer mudra. Rinpoche will then put the kata over your head as a blessing. If you wish, you can also offer a monetary donation. Put any money offering in an envelope and hand it over during the offering ceremony.
The best gift you can offer to your teacher is your personal inner practice and the ceremony just represents an outer form of offering.
If you wish, you can either bring your own kata or purchase a kata at the retreat. Traditional donation envelopes will be available at the bookstand.

Who has not felt that they do not have time for anything? That life is a stressful and hurried rush that takes us to a limit of physical and psychological fatigue? When we do not take care of ourselves we cannot take care of others (family, friends, colleagues ...). When we do not take care of ourselves we do not enjoy our full potential because we do not allow ourselves to have a calm, clear mind so that we can think and feel every moment present. Instead, we are busy with the things we need to do, and we forget to reflect on our lives and our fellow beings. Being silent is the way to feel. We relax on the mental and physical level, since there are no distractions from conversations and technological equipment. Just us, with ourselves! This allows us to remain in balance with body and mind. In which way? Through the Silence and the practice of Tsa Lung - The Energy Body.
Tsa Lung works with the body and the breathing. It is a technique that combines movements with the retention of breath in order to release blockages in the subtle body.
The health of our subtle body is of utmost importance to the health of our physical body and happiness of our mind. The subtle body is composed of channels (tsa) and the energy of wind (lung) and essences that flow through them. Blockages in the channels cause imbalances in our body systems, since the basic nutrients, oxygen and blood do not flow properly. These blocks also cause energetic and mental blockages. Unless we actively nourish our subtle body, we lose some channels every day.
Tsa Lung is a practice that works intensively with our subtle body. By combining special breathing retention techniques with physical movements and visualizations, we move the wind energy throughout the body, allowing it to reach deep places and open more and more subtle channels. When the wind flows freely, this energy can be used for self healing or can be transmitted to others. This physical practice is very dynamic and powerful. And the retention of breath poses an additional challenge. However, it is very important that we train the breath. As we get older, our breathing becomes increasingly shallow. So we need to relearn how to breathe more deeply. And when the breath flows, the mind flows. This is a method that transports us to a deep stillness of the mind.
In this retreat, Tulku Lobsang will share a complete practice that will prepare the body and the breath. This practice can then be more elaborate as the practitioner develops his or her experience.
