Sobre mí
Lu Jong: Tibetan Healing Yoga for Modern Life

Gentle Movement. Deep Presence. Inner Balance.

Over twenty years ago, I turned to yoga, feeling anxious, exhausted, and emotionally drained. What began as a search for relief became a return to myself. I discovered that peace doesn’t require struggle—it arises through breath, movement, and stillness. Today, it’s a sacred path I’m honored to share.

Lu Jong, the ancient Tibetan healing practice, is the heart of my daily life. Through gentle, breath-led movements, we open 72,000 subtle energy channels known as tsa, clearing stagnation, restoring clarity, and awakening calm.

This isn’t about performance—it’s about presence.

I offer all classes free of charge and without donations. Sessions are available online and in person and are open to people of all ages, bodies, and experience levels. Each class is a space to soften, breathe, and return home to yourself.

My journey began with the structure of Ashtanga and Bikram yoga. It deepened through Kundalini Yoga with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, where I became certified through Golden Bridge Global Yoga in 2012. I later became a Reiki Master through the International Reiki Institute in 2013.

Buddhism has shaped my spiritual path since 2005. In 2019, I became a student of His Eminence Khangser Rinpoche. Under his guidance, I assist and co-facilitate weekly Lamrim and Vajrayana teachings through the Dipkar Vajrayana Institute.

With gratitude, I honor Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche for bringing Lu Jong to the West and Nangten Menlang International in Austria for preserving this lineage. I especially thank Alicia Beltrán and Inma Vicente, for their ethics, inspiring presence and dedication.

I’m the mother of two exceptional children—a daughter and a son—and the bonus mom of three wonderful daughters. Alongside my husband and our two beloved fur babies (sometimes fur bosses!). In 2022, we relocated from the U.S., and now my husband and I share our time between the quiet beauty of San Miguel de Allende and the vibrant rhythm of Mexico City.

Professionally, I spent over 25 years in public service in the U.S.—as a counselor, educator, and public administrator. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology (MACP), a Master of Public Administration (MPA), a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Management, and a BA in Sociology and Spanish Literature from Texas A&M International University. I helped produce documentaries highlighting humanitarian work across Canada, Mexico, and South America. I served on boards supporting micro grants, classical music, the arts, housing insecurity, trauma recovery (RAINN), and maternal and infant health along the U.S.- Mexico border through initiatives like Healthy Texas Mothers and Babies, the Nurse-Family Partnership, and the March of Dimes. I retired in 2022 at 47, deeply grateful for a service-based career.

Today, I offer Lu Jong to those navigating stress, transition, burnout, or spiritual exhaustion. This is not just movement—it’s healing, alignment, and a quiet return to the part of you that never left.

Note: These offerings support overall wellness and are not a substitute for professional medical care.
