This event is part of the Teacher Certification Program and is open ONLY to people with the following qualifications:

(1) Students who have completed a Teacher Education Course in Lu Jong 1, Lu Jong 2, or Tog Chöd with a certified Educator within the last 2 years or who will complete their Teacher Education Course before the Master Class,

- OR -

(2) Certified Teachers of Lu Jong 1, Lu Jong 2, or Tog Chöd for renewing their certifications.

PLEASE NOTE: The Master Class replaces the former Teacher Certification Event. Attending the Master Class is the last step for participants of the Teacher Certification Program to become a certified teacher. Current teachers who need to renew their certificate have to attend the Master Class (corresponding to the method). There are no examinations during the Master Class.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

1) For teachers-to-be who are currently in an Education:
All practical examinations for new teachers are held by the Educators within their Teacher Education Course. The written examination is held online. There are no examinations during the Master Class. Instead, the Master Class – led by Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche – allows participants to receive direct transmission from the master, connect to their method more strongly, refine their movements, deepen their knowledge and practice in a group as a Teacher Sangha. All this makes the Master Class a very special experience!
Attending the Master Class requires having completed the Teacher Education Course with a certified Educator, having passed the Qualifying Exam with the Educator and having taken the Online Exam before the Master Class.
REMEMBER: The certification is valid for two years, after which renewal is required.

2) For existing teachers who renew their certification:
If you already are a certified teacher, you need to renew your certificate two years after your certification and then every four years. In order to renew your certificate, you need to participate in a Master Class. Please note: there are no examinations during the Master Class. This means, you do not have to do any examinations in order to renew your certificate. Instead, the Master Class – led by Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche – allows you to re-connect with the master, refine your movements, deepen your knowledge and practice in a group as a Teacher Sangha. All this makes the Master Class a very special experience! Please make sure to check until when your certificate is valid and be aware that you need to attend a Master Class in time in order to keep your certificate.
