Lu Jong is an old Tibetan practice. The body exercises have been developed in order to activate our self-healing-energies. With the help of the exercises we can support healing processes positively, overcome negative emotions and increase our energy.

Lu Jong is based on Tibetan medicine, where the human body is seen as a composition of the five elements earth, fire, water, wind and space. It is important to understand the connections and interdependence of these five elements. When the elements are out of balance, then it is quite probable to suffer from a disease. Therefore the goal is to balance the five elements – here the Five Elements Movements of Lu Jong are very helpful.

Through the combination of position, movement and breath Lu Jong can open physical channels and blocks in a soft way and mobilize misdirected energy. In this way our physical health, mental clarity and vitality are improved. These characteristics are the base for spiritual practice.

Tulku Lobsang will teach us the Five Elements Movements and the knowledge of the elements, which can be found in our body as well in nature. Knowing this, we can shape our daily life in a way where the elements support us in dealing with our tasks, instead of interfering.

Death is one of the most important events in our lives. We are all confronted with it, no matter who we are. We know this, and yet we repress it. Perhaps it is because of our fear of the unknown that we often act as if death does not exist. Death does not only happen on the outside - when we are dead on the outside - but also on the inside. It is an experience of body and mind. Buddhism explains this experience in detail and in fact we experience it every 24 hours: it is called the "little death" and it happens when we fall asleep. The process of falling asleep is just like the process of dying. We can use the little death to train ourselves and learn how to deal with this experience. In this way, we prepare ourselves for a fearless death.

From a Buddhist perspective, death is not an absolute end, but something very special, a great opportunity for liberation. In this lecture, we will learn from Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche how death can be transformed from an enemy into a friend.

In pursuit of a content life, psychological and emotional stability are important especially in today’s world filled with various influences. Our well-being, happiness and relationships are shaped by many factors, and our mind plays the central role in the process.

While life circumstances and physical health contribute to our overall well-being, the mind is the primary force. It not only guides our daily activities but also determines our deep happiness and mental balance.

The mind is both the source of happiness and the cause of suffering. Therefore, gaining control over our minds, especially in how we perceive things, profoundly impacts our mental health and contentment.

Tummo is our wisdom fire. It is something we naturally have within our bodies. Through a combination of movements, breathing techniques and visualizations we generate the Tummo flame and spread it throughout the body. On a physical level the Tummo fire increases our self-healing powers. On an energetic level, it surges energy throughout our body. On the level of mind, Tummo is the source of love, joy, happiness and bliss.

Unfortunately, we begin to lose this warmth as we grow older. Then our hormones and essences automatically decrease as well. But this does not have to be! The Tummo practice reignites our inner fire.

Through the practice, the flame grows, starting from below the navel and rising higher and higher. This inner warmth softly penetrates each of the main chakras, spreading to all the branches and every pore of our body. Our chakras are secret doors through which we can access our bliss body (Sambhogakaya) and our clear light mind (Dharmakaya). Tummo is the key to open these secret doors. Entering through those doors means that we find our true home inside ourselves: we reach our innate Buddha nature - the perfect union of ultimate love and compassion.

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche has an exceptional connection to Tummo, it is his true speciality. Rinpoche has received Tummo teachings and transmissions from different lineages and his deep understanding of this powerful practice makes him an incredibly skillful, wise and compassionate teacher. Tulku-la shares this secret practice openly, because he believes it can bring great benefit in these challenging times.

Tibetan medicine is an ancient healing knowledge based on the understanding of the interdependence of body and mind.

As a Tibetan doctor and spiritual counselor, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche offers private consultations. The consultations usually begin with a pulse diagnosis. If desired, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will give recommendations for movement, breathing and meditation techniques during a consultation. It is also possible to clarify questions with Rinpoche that are related to the teachings received.

Trust is one of the most powerful aspects of our mind. Because, what we trust in, can come true. Whenever and wherever we need help – trust will help us. Trust creates reality. Trust is more than a wish. Trust makes things happen.

We live our lives in blindness because we are in the sleep of ignorance. We are blind people with a very intelligent mind – and yet we cannot see. Trust is the only eye in this blind world. It helps us to find our way. Trust is the only way to survive in this sleeping, ignorant world.

In this lecture we will learn from Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche what power is inherent in trust and how we can find our way into trust and live with full trust.

Being home. Arriving, no longer having to do anything, just letting go. Finally finding peace and feeling content – deep within ourselves.

We all long for this so much – and yet we live the exact opposite. We think that we have to be different, better, stronger and more perfect, so that everything finally falls into place. But this moment never comes. We always criticize ourselves and try to be someone we are not, someone we actually don’t want to be. We believe that we are not lovable as we are, that we are not worthy. So what can we do to find our inner home, to finally arrive home? Letting go and being content – that is the key.

In this seminar, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche guides us in letting go everything we don’t need, bit by bit, and in this way becoming more and more content. The focus is on meditation, because through meditation we find access to our innate wisdom and to our true nature of deep contentment and perfect inner peace.

Mentally and physically we all hold on to so many things we don’t want or like. To our past, to self-doubt, to old accusations, to dissatisfaction with ourselves and even to our ideas of the future. All of this takes strength and requires effort. But we think we can’t and shouldn’t let go. We are afraid of losing ourselves if we let go. But it is only when we learn to let go that we find ourselves, that we find contentment. Letting go is the path to liberation. Letting go is liberation.

Letting go and contentment – these are the keys to our inner home.

What would we humans be without communication? Without language, gestures and facial expressions?

We communicate everywhere and all the time – in the supermarket, at work, in relationships, with our friends and children. But often enough, misunderstandings or even arguments arise. This is because our human communication is based on very individual experiences, on our very own idea of truth. All our actions, thoughts and feelings are based on the experiences we have gathered. And these vary not only from culture to culture, but also from person to person. And so each of us has his or her own understanding of truth, and each of us associates very personal emotions with individual words. Since we usually regard our own perception as the only correct truth, problems arise again and again.

In this lecture Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche gives us simple methods how we can become aware of these different truths and perceptions – and thus better accept the view of others and avoid misunderstandings.

Tsa Lung is a practice that works intensively with our subtle body through the breath. The subtle body is composed of channels (tsa) and the wind-energy (lung) and essence that flow through them. The health of our subtle body is of primary importance to the health of our physical body and our mental happiness. Blockages in the channels cause imbalances in our body systems – as vital nutrients, oxygen and blood don’t flow properly – as well as problems on an energetic and mental level.

Through holding the breath in combination with specific physical movements and visualizations, we direct our wind energy through the whole body and allow it to reach deep places in our body to open more and more subtle channels and release blockages. The more freely, gently and deeply the wind can flow in our channels, the calmer and more peaceful our mind becomes. The deeper the wind flows, the more powerful and energetic our running practice will become.

In this seminar Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche shows us how we can increase and strengthen our physical and mental health in a wonderful way and how we can achieve deep mental stillness.

We are all born with the potential for complete inner healing but we do not know how to use this innate healing energy. For true inner healing to occur, we need to cultivate true love. It is love that opens our blockages. And when we are free of blockages, we have a healthy body and a happy mind.

There are three general dimensions of love: gross love which depends upon external factors, subtle love which is generated internally, and absolute love which is free from conditions and always there. It is this absolute love that is the source of all health, the source of all happiness. It is this love that heals all our pain and suffering.

In this lecture, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will give us tips on how to open our hearts and reach deeper levels of love in our everyday lives.

Every night we need to sleep, so every night is a chance to practice. The moment we go to sleep, our conceptual thoughts dissolve and we naturally enter the clear light state of mind. This is a powerful moment. Clear light is the true nature of our mind. It is the state of pure awareness, the wisdom that exists beyond all limitations.

Usually, it is through mediation that we reach the clear light state of mind, but during our sleep, we reach this state naturally. However, normally, when we fall asleep, we aren’t conscious of the phases that our mind goes through or the experiences of these states.

This is really a lost opportunity because the way we fall asleep is exactly like the way we will die. If we learn to catch and recognize this moment of clear light during sleep, then we will be able to navigate the experience of our death.

Sleep Yoga of Clear Light (in Tibetan: Ösel) is a very powerful practice through which we can learn to remain lucid during deep sleep and therefore to become familiar with the clear light state of mind. This practice is one of the Six Yogas of Naropa, a comprehensive collection of advanced practices of Tibetan Tantrayana Buddhism intended to lead to Buddhahood in an accelerated manner.
