“Lu Jong – Tibetan Healing Yoga” originates in the lineage of Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche. As the reincarnation of a high Buddhist dignitary (the Nyentse Lama), Rinpoche learned Lu Jong from various masters of different traditions from an early age. In the West, Tulku Lobsang met many people who were mentally unbalanced. To positively influence their happiness and health, Tulku-la collected and modified the ancient Lu Jong movements – which have been used for millennia to maintain the health of yogis and monks – and combined them to “Lu Jong – Tibetan Healing Yoga”. It is a program of body exercises adapted to Western needs, allowing everyone to balance body and mind.
The exercises of Lu Jong are based on the knowledge of Tibetan medicine, which understands that humans are a unity of body and mind. If the natural inner balance gets disrupted, the whole organism will be affected. Diseases can be the result. Through the combination of position, movement and breath, Lu Jong opens the channels in the body and mobilizes misdirected energy. On the physical level, this leads to the activation of the body's own self-healing powers. On the mental level, the exercises help us overcome negative emotions like anger and craving in order to achieve emotional balance and to increase our energy. On an energetic level, Lu Jong releases blockages and opens the subtle body channels. This will reestablish the proper flow of energy.
This Retreat is a special opportunity to learn the wonderful practice of Lu Jong from Tulku Lobsang himself. We will practice a lot together, so that we can experience the profound influence of “Lu Jong - Tibetan Healing Yoga” ourselves.
Tulku Lobsang's teachings will be in English. German Translation will be provided.
