The Medicine Buddha holds a significant place in Buddhism, renowned for his profound ability to heal both physical and mental ailments. According to the teachings of the Buddha, human suffering, including illnesses, is believed to be rooted in desire, anger, and ignorance. While still a bodhisattva, the Medicine Buddha made twelve distinct aspirations, commonly known as the twelve great vows, with a central focus on benefiting sentient beings by dispelling ignorance and alleviating suffering.

The practice of Medicine Buddha goes beyond merely invoking his blessings; it also involves aspiring to embody his qualities and actions. It is widely believed that even hearing the name of the Medicine Buddha bestows immense benefits.

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche has a profound connection to the Medicine Buddha practice and Tulku la received this practice from various realized masters. Rinpoche will emphasize the practice of Medicine Buddha, including meditation and chanting the Medicine Buddha mantra.

Medicin Buddhaen har en ganske særlig plads i buddhismen. Han er kendt for sine dybtgående evner til at helbrede såvel kropslig som mental lidelse. Ifølge Buddhas belæringer menes menneskelig lidelse, herunder sygdomme, at have sin rod i begær, vrede og uvidenhed. Mens han endnu var en boddhisatva, afgav Medicin Buddhaen tolv særskilte ønsker, der normalt er kendt som de tolv store løfter, der har hovedfokus på at uddrive uvidenhed og lindre lidelse.

During our life we pass about 240,000 hours sleeping. By the term dream meditation we understand the practice of lucid dreaming. This means that we aware of what we dreaming while we dream. Through this practice we learn how to use our dreams for spiritual practice.

First we need to recognize during our dreams that we are dreaming- to then be able to to control our dream, in the second step. In this state of mind we can evoke willingly situations which cause us problems in daily life. And then live them with a prior unknown ease. If we dream consciously, we can learn in the dream to evoke difficulties of our daily life and learn how to handle them. Body postures, mantras and visualizations are learned which prepare lucid dreaming.

I løbet af vores liv tilbringer vi omkring 240.000 timer i søvne. Udtrykket drømme-meditation skal forstås som en meditationspraksis med klare eller oplyste drømme. Det vil sige, at man er bevidst om, at man drømmer, mens man drømmer. Gennem denne praksis lærer vi at bruge vores drømme til åndelig praksis.
Først skal vi lære at indse, at vi drømmer, når vi drømmer – for sidenhen at blive i stand til at styre vores drøm som det næste skridt. I denne tilstand kan vi af egen vilje fremkalde situationer, som ellers giver os problemer i dagligdagen. Og derefter kan vi gennemleve dem med ny lethed. Gennem bevidste drømme kan vi lære at fremkalde udfordringer fra vores dagligdag og således lære at håndtere dem. Der læres kropspositurer, mantraer og visualiseringer som forbereder os til klare drømme.
