  Lu Jong is an ancient practice rooted in Tibetan Medicine that releases blockages on the physical, mental and energetic levels. Doing this movement practice makes us healthier, and also more calm and balanced.

  With Tsa Lung we work with the breath. This is the way to touch deep within the body and open more subtle channels. Change the breath; change the mind.
- Tummo
  
  This Inner Fire practice is a method for deep transformation. It opens us on the subtlest level, melts our karmic blockages and completely changes us. Our body is the diamond key. Through it, we are able to achieve diamond wisdom.

Vajravarahi (in Tibetan, Dorje Phagmo) is the deity (yidam) associated with the Tummo practice. In this unique Retreat Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will introduce the Vajravarahi Deity Yoga practice into the Tummo practice which will support and enhance your Tummo practice and make it a lot more powerful.

In Anuttarayoga Tantra (Unsurpassable Yoga Tantra) the practice of Deity Yoga is divided into two stages – the generation stage and the completion stage:
• In the generation stage practice, we generate ourselves as the deity and perform a sadhana. This identification with the deity gives rise to the development of clear appearance, divine pride and the conviction that what appears is illusory and empty. This helps abandon fixation on ordinary thoughts and appearances as well as the false perception that things are inherently real.
• In the completion stage practice, we work with the subtlest energy system, so that we actually dissolve the coarser levels of mind and wind energy and access the subtlest ground of clear light out of which we can generate the enlightened bodies of a Buddha.
The generation stage practice creates the necessary causes for us to be able to successfully apply the methods of the completion stage.

In this three-day Retreat on the Tummo Generation Stage Practice of Vajravarahi Deity Yoga, you will
• receive a detailed in-depth teaching on the Vajravarahi sadhana practice.
• learn how to do the Tummo practice while visualizing oneself as the deity Vajravarahi.
• be given a secret Tummo-fire visualization.

As a result your Tummo practice will be empowered and blessed by Vajravarahi who is a wrathful deity form of Vajrayogini (the dakini who is the essence of all Buddhas) and represents the wisdom aspect of all Buddhas.

His Holiness Kyapgon Ngawang Tenzin Rinpoche who has given Vajravarahi Empowerment to many of Tulku-la’s students and who has written the Vajravarahi sadhana that will be practiced in this Retreat is kindly going to lead one of the Retreat sessions. His Holiness will give oral transmission (lung) of the sadhana in order to create an auspicious connection with the text and practice, guide a mantra recitation practice and give a teaching. (Please note: Oral transmission can only be received live, not by watching the video recordings!)
