GENERAL INFORMATION:
- This Teacher Certification Program is taught by Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche with the assistance of the Certified "Shiné - Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation" Educator Maaike Decock.
- After having successfully completed this Teacher Certification Program, the participants will be certified as "Shiné - Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation" Teachers in the lineage of Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche.
- The teachings will be held through "Zoom".
- This teacher certification program is offered in English only.
- (Participants will not be given access to the video recordings of the teachings. All sessions need to be attended live.)
CERTIFICATION PROGRAM LAYOUT:
- Six Online Live Teaching Days with Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche via Zoom.
- Extensive and detailed Teacher Manual (in PDF format) is provided.
- Schedule for daily meditation is provided.
- In addition to the Online Live Sessions with Rinpoche, five Zoom meetings led by selected certified "Shiné - Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation" Teachers (tutors) are offered where groups of approximately 25 people can exchange and discuss their meditation experiences. (Participation is not mandatory. The individual dates will be made available at the beginning of the Education once all the participants have been assigned to a tutor.)
- For the course of the Program, the participants will be divided into peer groups of four. Peer groups meet regularly online for meditation and discussion. (These meetings are organised individually by the peer group members.)
- Each peer group will have the opportunity to have two online tutor meetings with a selected certified "Shiné - Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation" Teacher (tutor). (Participation in this tutor meeting is not mandatory. The individual dates will be made available at the beginning of the Education once all the participants have been assigned to a tutor.)
BENEFITS AFTER HAVING SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THIS TEACHER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM:
- Digital Teacher Certificate as Certified "Shiné - Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation" Teacher in the lineage of Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche. (The certificate's validity is unlimited in time.)
- Right to use the Certified "Shiné - Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation" Teacher logo.
- Access to Teaching Material that can be used for teaching Shiné classes, such as handouts for students.
- Possibility to be listed as a Certified "Shiné - Traditional Tibetan Shamatha Meditation" Teacher on www.lujong.org.
- Possibility to attend future Shiné Master Classes offered by Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche.
- Access to any future updates of the Teacher Manual.
STEPS TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE THIS TEACHER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM:
- 100% attendance at the Online Live Sessions with Rinpoche. (It is required to have the camera on at all times and to write one's first and last name.
- Following a provided daily meditation schedule that is designed to gradually build up one's own meditation routine and to progress on the Shiné path.
- Completion of all homework tasks. (For the course of the Program, the participants will be divided into peer groups of four. As part of the homework it is required to meet online with the the peer group members in between each of the Online Live Sessions in order to either practice guiding a meditation for others or to discuss one's own experience gained from the daily meditations.)
- Completing a written online test after each Online Live Session and passing a final written online test after the last Online Live Session. (If the test wasn't passed the first time, the participant will be given some time to study again and can then take the test a second time.)
- Creation of an individual painting (Thangka) to illustrate one's own experience on the Shiné path, accompanied by a written explanation (in A4 format) of the Thangka. (No prior artistic experience or skills required.)
PRICE:
The following prices cover the complete costs of this Teacher Certification Program. No additional fees apply.
- 2,340 Euro (Price Category A: Central European Countries, Northern European Countries, North American Countries)
- 1,850 Euro (Price Category B: Southern European Countries, Eastern European Countries)
- 1,470 Euro (Price Category C: South American Countries)
A down payment of 30 % of the total price is due immediately upon registration. The rest is due by 25 September 2022. Instalment payments are possible. We kindly ask for your understanding that for this Teacher Certification Program all participants must select the price category of the country they reside in and that it’s not possible to choose a different price category.
