"Dream Meditation"
During our life we spend about 240,000 hours sleeping. By the term dream meditation we understand the practice of lucid dreaming. This means that we are aware of that we are dreaming while we are dreaming. Through this practice we learn how to use our dreams for spiritual practice.
First we need to recognize during our dreams that we are dreaming - for being then able, in the second step, to control our dream. In this state of mind we can evoke willingly situations which cause us problems in daily life. And then live them with a prior unknown ease. If we dream consciously, we can learn in the dream to evoke difficulties of our daily life and learn how to handle them. Body postures, mantras and visualizations are learned which prepare lucid dreaming.
