In pursuit of a content life, psychological and emotional stability are important especially in today’s world filled with various influences. Our well-being, happiness and relationships are shaped by many factors, and our mind plays the central role in the process.

While life circumstances and physical health contribute to our overall well-being, the mind is the primary force. It not only guides our daily activities but also determines our deep happiness and mental balance.

The mind is both the source of happiness and the cause of suffering. Therefore, gaining control over our minds, especially in how we perceive things, profoundly impacts our mental health and contentment.

In this Seminar, Rinpoche will guide participants in meditation practices focusing on being present in the moment. The goal is to raise awareness of our emotions, thoughts, and actions with the aim to promote mental well-being and resilience.

Tummo is our wisdom fire. It is something we naturally have within our bodies. Through a combination of movements, breathing techniques and visualizations we generate the Tummo flame and spread it throughout the body. On a physical level the Tummo fire increases our self-healing powers. On an energetic level, it surges energy throughout our body. On the level of mind, Tummo is the source of love, joy, happiness and bliss.

Unfortunately, we begin to lose this warmth as we grow older. Then our hormones and essences automatically decrease as well. But this does not have to be! The Tummo practice reignites our inner fire.

Through the practice, the flame grows, starting from below the navel and rising higher and higher. This inner warmth softly penetrates each of the main chakras, spreading to all the branches and every pore of our body. Our chakras are secret doors through which we can access our bliss body (Sambhogakaya) and our clear light mind (Dharmakaya). Tummo is the key to open these secret doors. Entering through those doors means that we find our true home inside ourselves: we reach our innate Buddha nature - the perfect union of ultimate love and compassion.

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche has an exceptional connection to Tummo, it is his true speciality. Rinpoche has received Tummo teachings and transmissions from different lineages and his deep understanding of this powerful practice makes him an incredibly skillful, wise and compassionate teacher. Tulku-la shares this secret practice openly, because he believes it can bring great benefit in these challenging times.

Being home. Arriving, no longer having to do anything, just letting go. Finally finding peace and feeling content - deep within ourselves.

We all long for this so much - and yet we live the exact opposite. We think that we have to be different, better, stronger and more perfect, so that everything finally falls into place. But this moment never comes. We always criticize ourselves and try to be someone we are not, someone we actually don’t want to be. We believe that we are not lovable as we are, that we are not worthy.

So what can we do to find our inner home, to finally arrive home? Letting go and being content - that is the key.

In this seminar, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche guides us in letting go everything we don’t need, bit by bit, and in this way becoming more and more content. The focus is on meditation, because through meditation we find access to our innate wisdom and to our true nature of deep contentment and perfect inner peace.

Mentally and physically we all hold on to so many things we don’t want or like. To our past, to self-doubt, to old accusations, to dissatisfaction with ourselves and even to our ideas of the future. All of this takes strength and requires effort. But we think we can’t and shouldn’t let go. We are afraid of losing ourselves if we let go. But it is only when we learn to let go that we find ourselves, that we find contentment. Letting go is the path to liberation. Letting go is liberation.

Letting go and contentment - these are the keys to our inner home.

In this Seminar, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will explain the different phases of death and the intermediate state - and share methods that help us to prepare for these phases and to recognize Bardo, the intermediate state.

Death is one of the most important happenings in our life. We will all face death, no matter who we are. We know this and yet somehow we forget. Perhaps it is because of our fear of the unknown that we often pretend that death does not exist.

But, according to the Buddhist teachings, death is an opportunity. It is the moment when we can be in our true nature - the clear light state of mind.

Death is not only something that happens on the outside (people see us as dead), but it is also something that happens on the inside. It is an experience of the body and mind. Buddhism explains this experience in detail. The elements that compose our body and mind dissolve into each other one by one. Each dissolution produces a particular mental state. This may seem very foreign, but in fact we experience this every 24 hours. This is called the “little death” and it happens when we fall asleep. The way that we fall asleep is exactly the way that we will die. We can use the little death to train ourselves and learn to navigate this experience. This is how we prepare for a fearless death.

If we can learn how to recognize and abide in the clear light state of mind that happens at death, it will have a profound impact on our next life. In the state between life and death, called Bardo, all kinds of things can appear and provoke our emotions. This is exactly like a dream. It is not real, but it feels real and it creates real reactions in us. We must learn to recognize this dream and maintain a calm, clear mind, for this is when it matters most.

Gang Gyok is an ancient practice of Tibetan yogic running techniques. It is the practice of the “fast feet.” However, because of the deep interconnectedness of the body and mind, this practice works with all dimensions of mind, breath and body to achieve its amazing results. We are able to generate energy in the body through the power of the mind. This energy can then be used for speed and power in running. We will become faster and less easily tired through the Gang Gyok practice, but we will also develop mindfulness, our inner warmth and overall vibrant health.

Tsa Lung is a practice that works intensively with our subtle body through the breath. The subtle body is composed of channels (tsa) and the wind-energy (lung) and essence that flow through them. The health of our subtle body is of primary importance to the health of our physical body and our mental happiness. Blockages in the channels cause imbalances in our body systems – as vital nutrients, oxygen and blood don’t flow properly – as well as problems on an energetic and mental level.

Through holding the breath in combination with specific physical movements and visualizations, we direct our wind energy through the whole body and allow it to reach deep places in our body to open more and more subtle channels and release blockages. The more freely, gently and deeply the wind can flow in our channels, the calmer and more peaceful our mind becomes. The deeper the wind flows, the more powerful and energetic our running practice will become.

In this Retreat, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will show us how we can enhance and strengthen our physical and mental health in a wonderful way through the combination of these two Tantrayana practices – Gang Gyok & Tsa Lung.
