INFORMATION ABOUT BOOKING PROCEDURE AND PRICES:
This Retreat is organised by Nangten Menlang Belgium in the Heerlijckyt (https://www.heerlijckyt.org/).
The Heerlijckyt organizes the seminar room, meals, drinks and accommodation.
Please note that the booking procedure consists of two steps:
- First, register with Nangten Menlang Belgium for the Retreat. Once your registration for the Retreat is confirmed, you will receive information on how to book the Seminar House (possible Tuesday - Sunday).
- Second, Seminar House booking of one of the categories listed below is required.
Prices:
- The teaching fee of € 600.- (incl. € 25.- administration fee) is payable to Nangten Menlang Belgium.
- The Seminar House Price (including seminar room, meals and drinks) according to the selected category is payable to the Heerlijckyt:
- Without accommodation: € 478.31.-
- Single Room: € 828.54.-
- Double Room: € 694.82.-*
- Multishare Room: € 661.90.-*
- *Shared rooms will be assigned based on same gender. If you have any specific roommate requests or wish to sign-up for a double-bed, please add this information in your registration email.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Retreat Check-in: 29 November 2022, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
- Tulku Lobsang teaches in English. No translation will be provided.
- Local Covid-19 regulations apply.

Special Cancellation Conditions with Nangten Menlang Belgium
Your payment of the teaching fee indicates that you agree with the following cancellation policy:
In case of a cancellation of your booking, a cancellation fee will be charged as specified below. In case any payments have already been made before the cancellation, the paid amount will be reimbursed less the applying cancellation fee. In case no payments have been made before the cancellation, you will be sent an invoice for the applying cancellation fee:
- Cancellation before 1 September 2022: an administration fee of 25 euro will be charged.
- Cancellation between 1 September 2022 and 1 October 2022: administration fee and 50 % of the amount consisting of teaching fee.
- Cancellation between 1 October 2022 and 1 November 2022 : administration fee and 75 % of the amount consisting of teaching fee.
- Cancellation after 1 November 2022: 100 % of the amount consisting of teaching fee.
Please Note:
- If due to force majeure (such as Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche's illness, the coronavirus COVID-19 or its consequences, which means that the retreat cannot continue,...) then we (NANGTEN MENLANG BELGIE vzw) are entitled to reschedule the retreat and move it to a later date. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible. Your registration will automatically move to the new date. In that case you are not entitled to compensation for (travel and accommodation) costs or damage. We advise you to take out travel insurance for this.
- If you cancel before 1 November 2022, an amount of the teaching will be refunded as described above.
- If you cancel after 1 November 2022 (due to changing measures or illness, including corona), you will not receive a refund.
- In the unlikely event that you are unable to participate in the retreat, it is possible that you will look for a replacement yourself. We request you to inform us about this as soon as possible

How to reach the Retreat venue:
The Heerlijckyt van Elsmeren is located in the rural municipality of Geetbets, in the quadrangle of Brussels, Antwerp, Maastricht, Liège, 35' from Leuven and an hour from Zaventem airport,at 7' from exit 25 of the E314.
There is free parking space by the hotel.
With public transport:
NMBS station Diest is located on the lines Ghent-Brussels-Leuven-Diest-Tongeren, Leuven-Hasselt and Antwerp-Diest-Liège.
By bike:
It is 25 minutes by bike from Diest station.

The practice of Tummo-Bliss is a powerful way to liberate ourselves from the heavily dependent version of happiness that we are used to. We normally depend upon external factors for our happiness: we think we need a reason to be happy. But we do not need a reason to experience Bliss. Unlike happiness that is experienced conceptually in the mind, Tummo-Bliss is direct perception through the body.
The practice of Tummo is the first one and therefore the foundation of the “Six Yogas of Naropa” - a comprehensive collection of advanced practices of Tibetan Tantrayana Buddhism intended to lead to Buddhahood in an accelerated manner.
Tummo is our wisdom fire. It is something we naturally have within our bodies. Through a combination of movements, breathing techniques and visualizations we generate the Tummo flame and spread it throughout the body. Through the practice, the flame grows, starting from below the navel and rising higher and higher. This inner warmth melts the body’s subtle energy drops causing an experience of physical Bliss.
The more Bliss we feel, the less we distinguish between 'I' and ‘you.’ Feelings of attachment, desire and anger are significantly reduced, allowing for our negative emotions to gradually decrease.
In this Retreat, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will focus on this Bliss part of the Tummo practice, with a special emphasis on physical exercises. Rinpoche has an exceptional connection to Tummo, it is his true speciality. Rinpoche has received Tummo teachings and transmissions from different lineages and his deep understanding of this powerful practice makes him an incredibly skillful, wise and compassionate teacher. Tulku-la shares this secret practice openly, because he believes it can bring great benefit in these challenging times.
