I followed your class yesterday and started enthousiasticaly with lu jong today. Now because of a special condition (a hernia in my diaphragm) I'm getting gastric juice in my esophagus when I bow. With the excercises I bow a lot and since yesterday I can feel gastric juice in my esophagus (between throat and estomach). I worrie a little that this can become worse. Do you think I can continue the exercises?
Response from Tulku Lobsang:
Dear Peter,
Sometimes this kind of movement can make these problems manifest, but then at some moment they go away. However, if you feel that the problems only become worse and worse, then maybe you need to stop. Or you need to adapt this exercise to your own ability so that it does not cause a strange feeling. Or, maybe you need to practice Tsa Lung. Find one of my students that teaches Tsa Lung. Maybe this helps you.
