Tulku Lobsang offers consultations. In his capacity as doctor of Tibetan medicine and as spiritual advisor he gives consultations.
Consultations mainly start with a pulse diagnosis. In doing so the condition of the organs, the blood and the humours are examined. in this way chronic diseases can be diagnosed. Tulku Lobsang gives advises to treat imbalances through nutrition, movement and breath or meditation techniques. It is as well possible to ask Tulku Lobsang questions regarding the own practice.

With a special combination of physical movements, breath exercises and visualization we awaken our inner fire, which burns the blockages of karmic imprints.

Tummo is our wisdom fire. It is something we naturally have within our bodies. This fire, this inner warmth, can be found in the area below the navel chakra. On a physical level it is responsible for the temperature of our body—the heat of digestion and metabolism, the heat that powers chemical reactions and builds hormones. But Tummo is much more than this! On an energetic level, the Tummo fire blazes through the channels, melting away the subtlest blockages and surging energy throughout the body. On the level of mind, Tummo is the source of love, joy, happiness and bliss.

Unfortunately, as we become older we start to lose this natural warmth. Then, our hormones and essences automatically reduce. But it doesn’t have to be this way! The Tummo practice will reignite our inner fire. Through a combination of movements, breath techniques and visualizations we generate the Tummo flame and spread it throughout the body. The flame grows, starting from below the navel and rising higher and higher. It softly penetrates each of the main chakras, spreading to all the branches and every pore of our body.

The chakras are secret doors to our being. Opening them and connecting with our Tummo fire brings us great realizations. In this way, we tap into our inner wisdom. From this great presence we can realize the true nature of our mind, fundamental wisdom, and unconditional love and compassion.

Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche has a very special connection to Tummo. This is his specialty and he can teach it like no other. An amazing opportunity!

Traditionally, you can make a kata (blessing scarf) offering where you approach Rinpoche with a kata folded in half and held in your prayer mudra. Rinpoche will then put the kata over your head as a blessing. If you wish, you can also offer a monetary donation. Put any money offering in an envelope and hand it over during the offering ceremony. The best gift you can offer to your teacher is your personal inner practice and the ceremony just represents an outer form of offering. If you wish, you can either bring your own kata or purchase a kata at the retreat. Traditional donation envelopes will be available at the bookstand.

The Five Elements - space, wind, fire, water and earth - are the basis of all phenomena: we live within the elements and the elements live within us. If the elements within our bodies are balanced, we experience health and happiness. Working with the elements, we can completely purify our bodies and minds. We can come to know our true nature and find complete freedom.

In this Retreat, Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche will introduce us to body practices as well as meditation techniques to purify our body and mind. On a physical level, this can increase our self-healing energy and improve our health. On a mental level, this helps us to transform negative karmic imprints so that we can let go of bad habits or even addictions in our life.

During this Retreat weekend, will practice a lot together so that we can feel and experience the profound effect that these methods have on us.
